FLSA Monitoring Solutions ( The Eyes & Ears for Your Life Safety System )
Fire & Life Safety America is prepared to provide our customers with the very best options available to assist in the process of transitioning from current day POTS (plain old telephone systems) monitoring to a wireless based technology solution that will meet local code requirements and ultimately provide a more cost effective pathway of monitoring and the many advantages associated with new technologies.
A few of those advantages include:
- Savings up to $1,000 on average per year on monitoring costs alone (no telephone lines required and saves on the cost of two dedicated phone lines
- Communicates faster than traditional phone line monitoring
- FLSA’s wireless systems are non-proprietary
- Requires no change to existing fire alarm control panel configurations
The IPGSM-4G is a Commercial Fire Alarm Communicator that offers Contact-Id reporting for any Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) that has a built-in dialer. This single or dual path communicator connects directly to the primary and secondary communication ports of a Fire panel’s Digital Alarm Communicator Transmitter (DACT). It offers three selectable reporting paths which include; Cellular only, IP only, or IP primary/cellular backup. All signals from the IPGSM-4G are delivered to Honeywell’s AlarmNet Network Control Center, which routes highly encrypted Ethernet data packets via a customer provided internet connection or cellular network to the appropriate central station. AlarmNet will send the appropriate signals to our monitoring central station to be handled. Its’ multi-platform technology locates and chooses the best available signal in the area (4G, 3G) and seamlessly self-adjusts to maintain critical life safety communication.
A Sole/Single source “tellular” communication solution that provides a single means of communication via Sprint and Verizon cell networks. Based on the FLSA footprint, the majority of areas typically receive a stronger signal via the CDMA- Verizon version. The TG-7FS is dial capture based similar to the IP/GSM by Honeywell. Only main differences between Honeywell and Telguard is the supervision of the unit. Additional modules may be needed to supervise the communicator. System must be mounted in the same room and within 20ft of the FACP.
Because the TG-7FS uses dial capture to interface with existing panels, it supports virtually all alarm formats and works with virtually every panel, every time.
